Grisham, Velma Vento - April 14, 1999
Velma Jane Vento-Grisham, 72, of Waveland, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999 in Waveland.
Mrs. Vento-Grisham was a native of Newburgh, N.Y,. and a longtime resident of Waveland. She was a member of St. Clare Catholc Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Petr and Jane Yaeple Vento.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Grisham of Waveland; her stepmother, Thelma Vento of Newburgh, N. Y.; four sons, Peter J. Grisham of Waveland; Paul L. Grisham of Bay St. Louis, Gregory W. Grisham of Jafra, Spain, and Stephen J. Grisham of Arvada, Colo.; three daughters, Cheryl G. Firth of Waveland, Christine J. Poolson of Pass Christian; and Mary A. Kimball of Arvada; a brother, Donald Vento of Libertyville, Ill; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, April 19, 10 -11:30 a.m. at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland followed by funeral services at the church. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
