Gray, Melba  -  August 5, 1997

Mrs. Melba Gray, 56, of Kiln, died Tuesday, Aug 5, 1997, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Gray was a member of the Church of Christ in Picayune. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Leroy Gray of Picayune; two daughters, Marilyn Henry and Ovier Lewis, both of Picayune; two sisters, Olga Magee of Kiln and Deborah Swainer of Gulfport; ten brothers, Monroe Lewis of Baltimore, MD, Wilmer Lewis, Jr., Milton Lewis, and David Bowens all of Kiln, Kelvin Bowens of Picayune, Howard Lewis of Moss Point, Calvin Lewis, Kenneth Lewis, Jody Lewis and Sam Lewis all of Waveland; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, Aug 9 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Baylous Funeral Home in Picayune.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Little Providence Baptist Church in Catahoula. The Reverend Phillip McSwain will officiate at the service.

Burial will be in Kiln Cemetery.

Baylous is in charge of the arrangements.
