John H. Haas Jr., 78, of Bay St. Louis, died Saturday, May 9, 1998 in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Haas was a native of New Orleans. He was a retired sheet meal worker with Sheet Metal Local 11 in New Orleans.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Haas; his parents, John H. Sr. and Amelia Schmitt Haas; and a brother, Henry Haas.
Survivors include two sons, John H. Haas III of Bay St. Louis and Douglas R. Haas of Vancouver, Canada; a brother, George Haas of Gretna, La.; two sisters, Florence Scano of Metairir, La., and Eva Hagen of Redding, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Services were conducted Tuesday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home Chapel in Bay St. Louis. Burial followed in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis.
