Haas, Olander J. - July 30, 1999
Olander J. Haas, 90, of Kiln, died Friday, July 30, 1999, in Gulfport.
Mr. Haas was a native and lifelong resident of Kiln. He was a member of Annunciation Ctholic Church in Kiln and was the former owner of O'Haas Grocery in Kiln.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Orianona Williams Haas; his parents, Jeremiah and Mary Hart Haas; a son, John Alden Haas; and three daughters, Norma Farve, Marie Lee and Barbara Jewel Haas.
Surivors include two sons, U. S. Army Retired Sgt. 1st Class Melvin D. Haas of Colorado Springs, Colo., and John Edward Haas of Bay St. Louis; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be today, 7-9 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home Monday, Aug. 2 at 9.20 a.m. for celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln.
Interment will follow at Bayou Coco Cemetery in Kiln.
