Hall, Martha H. R. - November 13, 1997
Martha Heon Rand Hall, 67, of Diamondhead died Thursday, Nov 13, 1997, in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Hall was a native of Yazoo City, Miss. She received a B. A. At Stephens College in Missouri and lived most of her adult life abroad and was active in social affairs. She was president of the Damas Rotarias in El Tigre, Venezuela and served on the board of the PTA at Lincoln School in Buenos Aires, Aregentina. While residing in Houston, Texas, she organized the Dispatch Group for Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department in Houston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Turner Rand Jr. And Florrie Mae Sewell Rand; and a brother, Red Turner Rand III.
Survivors include her husband, George Waverly Briggs Hall, Jr. of Diamondhead; daughters Mariam Elise Hall Kirch of Austin, Texas, Dr. Martha Helon Hall of Pittsburgh, Pal (Penn?), Syulvia Rand Hall Borrmann of Danville, Calif.; brother Thomsas Ocey Sewll Rand of Bethesda, Md.; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be conducted Monday, Nov 17, at 11 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
