Basford, Cyril J. Sr. - March 7, 1960
Funeral services for Cyril J. Basford, Sr., were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the funeral home of Jacob Schoen and Son. Inc., with religious rites at St. Louis Cathedral. Interment was in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery, New Orleans.
Mr Basford, 50, a native of Bay St. Louis and resident of New Orleans for the past 40 years died at 7:30 A. M. Monday, March 7.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley Weir Basford; one son Cyril J. Basford, Jr., one daughter, Debra Ann Basford; his parents, John Basford and Mrs. Basford, the former Rosie Seube; brother, Robert W. Basford; Lloyd Basford and a sister Mrs. Irene Colson, of Bay St. Louis.
