Hau, Mr. Peter - August 20, 1896
Mr. Peter Hau, born 76 years ago at Lorraine, France, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. Bontemps, Thursday night, after a lingering illness of over a year. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, with the Catholic ceremonies of which faith the deceased was a devout member. He was a peaceful citizen, and belonged to the Independent Hope, Hook and Ladder Fire Company.
