Hoda, Olease - October 26, 1957
Olease Hoda, 69, died at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport about noon Saturday. Mr. Hoda, who resided at Rt. 2, Gulfport, Lizana community, was born in Hancock County March 17, 1888.
Mr. Hoda is survived by his wife, Mrs. Corine Hoda, Lizana; a son, Leander Hoda, Lizana; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren; three brothers, Camile Hoda, Rosalouse Hoda and Emile Hoda, Lizana.
The funeral service was held Sunday afternoon from the family residence where it was removed from Riemann's Funeral Home, Religious rites were held in St. Ann's Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory Johnson officiating. Interment was in Rotten Bayou Cemetery. Pallbearers were J. J. Cuevas, Jimmy Hoda, Joe Hoda, Virde Cuevas and Renelder Cuevas.
