Holifield, Bennie A. - May 30, 1998
Bennie A. Holifield, 54, of Nicholson, died Saturday, May 30, 1998 in Picayune.
Mr. Holifield was a native of Jones County and a carpenter. He was a member of Pentacostal Church and of the Nicholson Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Thigpen Holifield of Nicholson, four sons, Mark, Timothy, Jeffery and Darell Holifield, all of Picayune; a daughter, Melisa Lee of Picayune; two brothers, Howard Holifield of Mobile , Ala, Terry Holifield of Lucedale; six sisters, June Williams of Mobile, Ala., Barbara Penton and Rose Reed, both of Picayune; Patsy Jordan of Ocean Springs, Linda Harvard of Lucedale, Susan Miller of Pass Christian; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation was Sunday evening and Monday morning at McDonald Funeral Home, followed by services at the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Nicholson.
McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune was in charge of arrangements.
