Homer, Martin J. Jr. - June 9, 1998
Martin Joseph Homer Jr., 85, of Kiln, died Tuesday, June 9, 1998 in Gulfport.
Mr. Homer was a native of Westwego, La., and had been a resident of Kiln for the past 17 years. He was a former resident of Metairie and was a retired district manager of Jackson Brewing Company.
He was precedced in death by his parents, Martin Homer Sr. And Elizabeth Homer; two sisters, Ruby Keith Chiasson and Vivian Elizabeth Moeller.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Ladner Homer of Kiln; a son, Martin Homer III of Kiln; a brother, Merlyn J. Homer of Metairie; a sister, Elizabeth Homer Bordelon of Kenner; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today, 7-10 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints in Waveland. Services will be conducted Friday, June 12, at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Bayou LaCroix Cemetery.
