Hoppert, Darvin E. - January 29, 1997
Darvin E. Hoppert, 84, of Diamondhead, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997, in Biloxi.
He was a native of St. Paul, Minn. Mr. Hoppert was a member of Diamondhead Community Church, and the Diamondhead Men's Golf Association. He had been a resident of Diamondhead since 1971. Mr. Hoppert was a retired Colonel with the U. S. Army, having served for 28 years. He was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He retireed from the Veterans Administration after 30 years of service in Colorade, Oklahome and Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary C. Hoppert.
Survivors include his son, Paul D. Hoppert of Bay St. Louis, and one brother, Walter J. Hoppert of Detroit Lakes, Minn.
Arrangements are incomplete at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St Louis.
