Koenenn, Edith Lucille Weaver  -  January 13, 1960

Mrs. Edith Lucille Weaver Koenenn 53, wife of Pat Koenenn and a resident of Gulfport for more than 20 years prior to moving to Kiln several years ago, died Wednesday afternoon at 4:28 o'clock at Providence Hospital in Mobile following a week's illness.

Mrs. Koenenn was the daughter of Mrs. Myrtie Stockstill Weaver of Picayune and the late T. J. Weaver. She was born in Moselle, Miss., on Aug. 13, 190S. While a resident of Gulfport, she was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the National Council of Catholic Women.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Bus of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Patsi Compagno of Mobile; four sisters, Mrs. Thelma Barksdale, Pensacola; Mrs. Katherine Farrar, Picayune; Mrs. Clara Evelyn Pitts, Pasadena, Texas; and Mrs. Dorothy Breedlove, Purvis; one brother, Coy Weaver, Picayune, and three grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of McDonald's Funeral Home in Picayune.

Rosary will be recited at the funeral home this evening at 7:30 o'clock. A requiem mass will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln and interment will be in the Rotton Bayou Cemetery at Fenton.
