Ladner, Emma G.  -  January 24, 1961

Mrs. Emma G. Ladner, 63, died about 2:20 P. M. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. She resided at Rt. 1, Box 153, Pass Christian, in the Dedeaux community.

Born in Hancock County on July 4, 1897, she ws a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux. She was a life-long resident of the Coast.

Survivors include four sons: Welton Ladner, Pass Christian; Ray Ladner, Houston, Texas; John Ladner and Ceville Ladner, both of Gulfport; six daughters: Mrs. Percy Ladner, Pass Christian; Mrs. Wilma Hurst, Gulfport; Mrs. Glenn Matthews, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Emma Triana and Mrs. Betty Ronshiemer, both of New Orleans; and Mrs. Edna Guidry, Long Beach; 43 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers: Asa Garriga and Walter Garriga, both of Gulfport; four sisters: Mrs. Bessie Mauffray, Fenton community; Mrs. Mae Dedeaux, Dedeaux community; Mrs. Pearl Hennessy, Gulfport; and Mrs. Myrtle St. Amant, New Orleans.

The body will be at Riemann's Funeral Home in Gulfport until 10 A. M. Thursday. The body will be taken to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the Dedeaux community for 11 A. M. Requiem Mass. Burial will be in Sand Hill (Fenton) Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited tonight at 8 o'clock at Riemann's Chapel.
