Ladner, Eunice C.  -  March 7, 1999

Eunice C. Ladner, 86, of the Dedeaux Community, died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Ladner wasw a native of Harrison County and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver J. Ladner, her parents, Aubin and Corinne Cuevas; three sons, Bert Ladner, Leland Ladner and Judge Vernon E. Ladner; two brothers, Odell Cuevas and Elder Ladner; and two sisters, Versie McLemore and Bluney Easterling.

Survivors include four sons, Eulice Ladner of Pass Christian, Roland W. Ladner of Necaise Crossing, Clifford Ladner and Eddie Ladner, both of Gulfport; five daughters, Jeanelle Bates and Joyce McLemore, both of Gulfport, Alice Ladner and Elsie Cuevas, both of Dedeaux, and Judy Ladner of Jackson; a sister, Sadie Lassabe of Long Beach; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Wednesday evening at St. William Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou in Hancock County.

Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue in Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
