LaFontaine, Rufus - June 2, 1997
Rufus LaFontaine, 79, of Ansley, died Monday, June 2, 1997, in Biloxi.
Mr. LaFontaine was a native of Lakeshore and a Baptist. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Hew was a member of American Legion Post 77 in Waveland, DAV Chapter 5, Gulfport, and VFW Post 4808, Lakeshore.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillie Barr LaFontaine; a stepson, Clinton Luther; a daughter, Debbie LaFontaine; his parents, Horace and Sedonia LaFontaine; and two sisters, Alice Barr and Emelda Green.
