Landry, Edward L.  -  April 13, 1999

Edward Louis Landry, 75, of Diamondhead, died Tusday, April 13, 1999, in Slidell.

Mr. Landry was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Diamondhead for the past 22 years. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln, the Diamondhead Men's Golf Association and the Loyola Univrsity Alumni Association, New Orleans. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in World War II. He was a graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans, and was a retired vice-president of Avondale Industries.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Joseph and Eva Arno Landry Sr., two brothers, William J. Landry and James L. Landry, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Benigno Landry of Diamondhead; two sons, Scott Louis Landry of Pensacola, Fla., and Lyle Mark Landry of New Orleans a daughter, Lori Landry Brown of Metairie;; a brother, John A. Landry of New Orleans; two sisters, Eva Edwina Landry of New Orelans and Mary. Kneale of Chalmette, several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be today, 1-2 p.m. in Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln followed by a Funeral Mass in the church. Interment will follow in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis.

Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in By St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
