Laurent, Amelia - January 21, 1898
After an illness of many months from dropsy and complications, the death of Mrs. Amelia Laurent occurred yesterday evening at 5 o'clock, at the home of her son, Louis Laurent. The funeral is to take place at 4 o'clock this evening. Mrs. Laurent was born in the country of St. James parish, La., sixty-one years ago, and a resident of Bay St. Louis for many years. She leaves two sons and two daughters and many friends to mourn her inevitable departure.
