Lizana, Bessie C. - January 2, 1999
Bessie C. Lizana, 91, of Bay St. Louis, died Saturday, Jan 2, 1999, in New Orleans.
Mrs. Lizana was a native of LaBadieville, La., and had been a resident of Bay St. Louis for 60 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Peter Claver for 50 years and of the Mother Catherine Drexall Court.
Survivors include a son, Kent Taylor of Bay St. Louis; two daughters, Sheila T. Twiggs of Bay St. Louis and Yolanda T. Barrow of New Orleans; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated today at 10 a.m. at St. Rose deLima Catholic Church in Bay S.t Louis, where friends may call an hour before service time.
Burial will be in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
United Funeral Services Inc. in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
