Lizana, Clifford - September 15, 1999
Clifford Lizana, 75, of Kiln, died Wednesday, Sept 15, 1999, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Clifford was a native of Hancock County. He retired after 17 years as manager of Red Bird Hill Nursery in Kiln and served as sexton of St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou for over 20 years. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lovander and Lugenia Cuevas Lizana; and sisters Laura Lixana and Wilda Mauffray.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Lizana of Gulfport; a stepson Harry Hattabaugh of Gulfport; a brother, Herman Lizana of Kiln; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept 17, 6-10 p.m. at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis with recitation to the rosary at 7 p.m.
A procession will leave the funeral home Saturday at 10 a.m. going to Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln for celebration of Mass at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
