Louvier, Elda - December 2, 1997
Elda Louvier, 92, of Waveland, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997, in Metairie.
Ms. Louvier was a native of New Orleans and a retired employee of Life Insurance Company of Virginia She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland and St. Clare Sodality, Past Grand Regent of Catholic Daughters of America, Court Master Dei 868, a member of St. Margaret's Daughters of ST. Henry Parish and the Guild of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Medaille. She was a charter member of the Waveland AARP and a member of the Waveland Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anatole J. Louvier Sr. And Mattie Bishop Louvier; her stepmother, Eugenia Flynn Louvier; three brothers, Anatole J. Louvier Jr., Raymond A. Louvier and Roger A. Louvier; two sisters, Myrtle L. Faulkner and lise M. Louvier; seven nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec 5, 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland.
Burial will be in Gretna Hook and Ladder Cemetery at 2 p.m.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
