Mauffrey, Wilda L.  -  December 27, 1998

Wilda Lizana Mauffray, 77, of the Fenton community, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, in Bay St. Louis.

Mrs. Mauffray was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, where she served on the Altar Society, was a member of Annunciation Senior Citizens and was a former member of Annunciation Head Start.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Mauffray; her parents, Lavander and Lugenia Cuevas Lizana; two sons, John Mauffray and Paul Mauffray; and a sister, Laura Lizana.

Survivors include eights sons, Harland Mauffray and Michael Mauffray, both of Bay St. Louis, Randall Mauffray of Pass Christan, Garvin, Woody, Gerard , and David Mauffray all of Fenton; and Tommy Mauffray of Ansley; five daughters, Sylvia Hardy of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Sandra Edwards, Janet Mauffray and Jean Jackson, all of Fenton, and Kathy Alvarado of Bay St. Louis; two brothers, Clifford Lizana and Herman Lizana, both of Fenton; 37 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Tuesday evning at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. Mass was celebrated Wednesday inn Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
