McArthur, Tony L.  -  September 18, 1958

Tony L. McArthur, 67, died at the Biloxi Veterans Administration Hospital Thursday night. He had resided at 413 E. North St., Pass Christian, for 25 years.

He was employed in the lumber industry as a logger, and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and a veteran of World War II.

Mr. McArthur was born in Logtown, Miss.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lugenia McArthur, Pass Christian; four sons. Earl McArthur, Edward Joseph McArthur, Herman McArthur and Ronald McArthur, all of Pass Christian; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Parish, Biloxi; and Mrs. Louise Stipulkoski, Pass Christian; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Ora and Wesley McArthur, Bay St. Louis; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Cared, Pass Christian; Mrs. Carrie Cospelich, Bay St. Louis; Mrs. Myrtle Glass, New Orleans.

The body will be taken to Riemann's Chapel in Pass Christian, The service .will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in St. Paul's Church with the Rev. J. P. McGlade, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Live Oak Cemetery.
