McCardle , Myrtis - July 31, 1999
Myrtis Ladner McCardle, 79, of Lakeshore, died Saturday, July 31, 1999, in Slidell.
Mrs. McCardle was a naative and lifelong resident of Lakeshore, She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Lakeshore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lee McCardle; her parents, Ora S. and Juanita Moran Ladner, a grandson, Tommy McCardle Jr., a brother, Oris Ladner, and a sister Eunice Boudin.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas McCardle of Chalmete and Samual McCardle of Lakeshore; two daughters, Deanie Necaise of the Standard community and Jeannie Spiers of Necaise Crossing; a brother, Blynvin Ladner of Mulberry, Fla., and two sisters, Eula Mae Osbourn of Lakeshore and Bety Lombardo of Clermont Harbor, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday evening at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church in Lakeshore followed by interment in Lakeshore Cemetery.
