McCardle, Melvin L. - August 21, 1998
Melvin Lee McCardle, 88, of Lakeshore, Miss., died Friday, August 21, 1998, in Lakeshore.
He was a native of New Augusta, Miss., a retired truck driver and a Baptist.
Mr. McCardle was preceeded in death by his parents, James and Eugena Brodgon McCardle and a grandson, Tommy McCardle Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes McCardle of Lakeshore; two sons, Thomas McCardle of Chalmette, La., and Samuel McCardle of Lakeshore; two daughters, Deannie Necaise of Standard Community and Jeannie Spears of Necaise Crossing Community; two sisters Champane and Irene Housey both of Waveland; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Saturday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, Bay St. Louis.
The funeral procession will leave Edmond Fahey Funeral home Sunday, Aug 23, at 10;30 a.m. for a 11 a.m. graveside service and burial at the Lakeshore Cemetery.
Edmond Fahey Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
