McDonald, Joseph, Sr. - June 4, 1999
Joseph D. McDonald Sr., 78, of Diamondhead, died Friday, June 4, 1999, in Diamondhead.
Mr. McDonald was a native of New Orleans and had been a resident of Diamondhead since 1987.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph A. and Thelma Fichtel McDonald and his brother, Milton M. McDonald.
Mr. McDonald was the husband of Alberta Gueringer McDonald; father of Mary M. Thompson, J. Daniel McDonald Jr., David P. McDonald, Elizabeth M. Bouyelas, John P. McDonald and Patricia L. McDonald. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home in New Orleans, followed by a Funeral Mass at Saints Peter and Paul church in New Orleans. Interment was in St. Vincent de Paul Mausoleum.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated today at Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln.
