Melancon, Joan E. - September 3, 1996
Joan Elizabeth Breisacher Melancon, 61, of Waveland, cied Tuesday, Sept 3, 1996, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Melancon was a native of New Orleans, was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland and of Al Anon in Bay St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Edwin Breisacher.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Joseph "Jerry" Melancon Jr.; two daughters, Barbara Melancon Landry and Sandra Melancon Odom, all of Waveland; her mother, Ethel Lips Breisacher; a sister, Lorraine Breisacher Pienot, both of New Orleans; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A private service will be held.
The family prefers memorials to St. Clare Scholarship Fund, Our Lady Academy Scholarship Fund or St. Stanislaus Endowment Fund.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arangements.
