Meyers, Florence - November 5, 1999
Florence B. Myers, 59, a resident of Bay St. Louis, Ms, died Friday, November 5, 1999 in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Myers received a Masters Degree in architectural history from the University of South Carolina in 1977 and a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from Tulane University in 1983. She practiced architectue in the New Orleans area for 15 years and was a member of the American Institutes of Architecture.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Acher Sr.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Bacher; one son, Townsend Myers, one daughter Amy Myers; one brother, William Bacher; four sisters, Christine Johnson, Dorothy Klein, Amy Norris and Cynthia Burch.
A visitation will be held after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Baronne Street in New Orleans. A Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Abby in Covington, La. Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
