Miller, Vertis - August 9, 1997
Vertis N. Miller, 65, of the Bayou La Croix community, died Saturday, Aug 9, 1997, in Slidell.
Mr. Miller was the owner of Tractor Service and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Veda Mae Wainwright Miller.
Survivors include four sons, Frank N. Miller of Covington, La.,Stephen J. Miller of Slidell, Roger D. Miller f Tylertown, and Lance A. Miller of Spring, Texas; two daughters, Veda M. Redman of Slidell, and Belinda M. Tassin ofMandeville,La., and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waveland. A service was held Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wednesday. Burial was in Bayou La Croix Cemetery in Hancock County.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis was in charge of arrangements.
