Mrs. Beatrice Mitchell, 69, of Kiln, died Saturday, Aug 9, 1997, in Moss Point.
Mrs. Mitchell was a native of Tuscaloosa, Ala,; and a retired grocery deli manager. She was a member of Central Baprist Church in Bay St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Martha Elizabeth Johnson Cook; two brothers, Thomas Cook and J. W. Cook; and a sister, Ollie Colemen.
Survivors include her husband, Roy L. Mitchell of Kiln;; two sons, Greg Cleek of Gulfport and Michael Cleek of Houston, Tx,;;three stepdaughters, Donna Kay Palmer and Kathy Whitfield, both of Picayune and Tammy Oakes of Monterey, Calif;; a brother, Hollis Cook of Grubbs, Ark., three sisters, O'Neal Cook of Northport, Ala; Jeannette Combest of Moss Poiny and Kimbrough Cooley of Pascoula; one grandchild; and several stepgrandchildren.
Visitation was Sunday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A service was held Monday at the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
