Mitchell, James H. - April 7, 1999
James H. Mitchell, 80, of Waveland, Ms., died Wednesday, April 7, 1999, in Bay St. Louis.
He was native of Loudon, Tn, and a longtime resident of Waveland, Ms. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Clare's Catholic Church, Waveland. He was also a member of the Americn Legion Post 77 in Waveland, and VFE Post 3253 in Bay St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Franklin and Martha McCullough Mitchell; his wife, Florence Lee Mitchell; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Patricia Miller.
Survivors include one, sister, Barbara Gossage of St. Peter, Mo;. Two step-children; and 3 step-great-children.
A visitation will be hled Monday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with American Legion Services at 10 a.m. at the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, Bay St. Louis.
A prayer service will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m. wth American Legion Services at 10 a.m. at the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, Bay St. Louis.
A prayer service willbe held Monday, 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home.
Interment will be at 12:30 p.m. in the Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, Ms.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
