Monju, Shirley A. - August 25, 1998
Shirley Agnes Monju, 62, of Kiln, died Tuesday, Aug 25, 1998, in Montgomery, Ala.
Mrs. Monju was a native of New Orleans and was a reident of Kiln for the past 17 years.
She was the wife of Cedric M. Monju Jr; mother of Michael J. Monju and Eddie Monju; daughter of the late Inez A. Johnson; and granddaughter of the late Armatine Guillot Blanchard and Newton J. Blanchard Sr.; sister of Robert Johnson and the latae Newton J. Blanchard III; and grandmother of Michael J. Jr., Amy and Brett Monju.
A memorial servide was conducted Monday at the Chapel of Eternal Faith in Garden of Memories Cemetery in New Orleans.
St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
