Mons, Stanley J. Sr. - May 6, 1999
Stanley Joseph Mons Sr., 47, of Pearlington, Ms, died Thursday, May 6, 1999 in Gulfport.
Mr. Mons was a native of Bay St. Louis, Ms, and a lifelong resident of Perlington. He was of the Baptist faith and was a tugboat engineer for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Oliver and Melvia Marie Bailey Mons Sr., one daughter, Kaevin Dawn Motts; one brother, Donald Debaide.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Carver mons of Pearlington; one son Stanley J. Mons Jr., of Pearlington; three daughters, Karen Marie Mons of Pearlington, Melva Sue Corley of Meridan, Ms, Velma Sue Mons of Pearlington; two brothers, Johnny Everett Gebaide of Ocala, Fl, and Joseph Oliver Mons Jr. of Perlington; one sister, Susan Ledlow of Vncleave, Ms, and three grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Monday, May 10 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Pearlington United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at Pearlington United Methodist Church. Interment to follow in the Pearlington Cemetery in Pearlington.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
