Necaise, Joseph B. - December 26, 1957
Joseph B. Necaise, 85 year old Bay St. Louis resident, died Thursday, December 26, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport where he had been confined for a week for treatment and surgery of a broken leg.
Mr. Necaise was born in Hancock County on Dec. 2, 1872. He had been retired for a number of years.
A member of Our Lady of die Gulf Catholic Church, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Artimise Necaise; five daughters, Mrs. Rita Lott, Gulfport; Mrs. Marie Geoffrey, Miss Lydia Necaise, Mrs. Ethel Garcia and Mrs. Dupree Lapoint, all of Bay St. Louis; 22 grandchildren and 29 grandchildren.
Funeral services wete held Saturday from the Fahey Funeral Home with a Requiem Mass following at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.
Interment was in Cedar Rest Cemetery.
