Nugent, Emelda W. - October 18, 1999
Emelda Nugent, 67, of Waveland, died Monday, Oct 18, 1999, in Slidell.
Mrs. Negent was a native of New Orleans. She was a resident of Waveland for 15 years and a former resident of Metairie. Mrs. Nugent was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Post 77 Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland.
Survivors include her husband, William B. Nugent; a son, William B. Nugent Jr; four daughters, Gail Albaral, Cindy Povenzano, Sandra Cooley and Nancy Franchek, a sister, Anna Harper; a brother, Julius Wartberg, Jr., 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon today at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel where friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery.
Lake Lawn Meairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
