Olsen, Carl A. - January 5, 1999
Carl Arnold Olsen, 41, of Kiln, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Olsen was a planning specalist with Alcan Cable in Bay St. Louis for 19 years and was a fireman with the Kiln Volunteer Fire Department for over 25 years. He was the commissioner of the Kiln Fire and Water District and a member of Bayou Bacon Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Olsen; and a sister, Mary Olsen.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Ladner Olsen; a son, Ryan Carl Olsen; his mother, Virginia F ayard Olsen, all of Kiln; and a sister, Katherine Martin of Gulfport.
Visitation was Friday evening at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. Services were conducted Saturday at Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln. Burial was in Bayou Coco Cemetery.
