Robinson, H. L. - March 19, 1998
H. L. Robinson, 76, of Bay St. Louis, died Thursday, March 19, 1998 in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Robinson served in World War II and attained the rank of Master Sergeant and received the World War II Victory Medal, ATO Medal, EAMETO Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Bronze Star Medal. Mr. Robinson retired from Gordon's Transport as district sales manager. He was lifetime member of the Baton Rouge and New Orleans Traffic Clubs. He was also a former instructor at Loyola University in New Orleans and was formerly employed as a consultant for freight traffic. He also served as vice president of Our Lady of the Gulf St. Vincent de Paul Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rger Wesley and Era O'Mara Robinson; and two brothers, Roger Robinson and Wesley Robinson.
Survivors include his wife, Noreta Yerger Robinson of Bay St. Louis; sons Rucks Robinson of Hurley, Michael Robinson of Lewis Center, Ohio, Paul Robinson of Biloxi; daughters Lynne Henry of Ecatawpa, Anne Parker of Sugarland, Texas; Patricia Bradley of Vicksburg, Susan Whiddon of Sumrall; 17 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Mass was celebrated Saturday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis. Burial will be prevate.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
