Seay, Ollie "Granny" 86, of Lakeshore, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Seay was a native of Edmondson County, Ky., and was a member of Bayside Park Baptist Church. She was a charter member of Gulfview School Booster club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Russell Seay; her parents Noah and Lucy Meredith Carroll; a son, Elbert Seay; three brothers, Laymon Carroll, Denton Carroll and Charles Carroll; and a sister, Norma Carroll. Survivors include a son, Delbert Seay; a daughter, Carole Mitchell, both of Lakeshore; a brother, Raymond Carroll; two sisters, Elva Meredith, both of Bee Springs, Ky., and Helen Haines of Grove City, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted today at 2.30 p.m. at Bayside Park Baptist Church, where friends may call after 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Bayou Cadet Cemetery.

Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
