Turdury, Henry - May 21, 1958
Services for Henry Tudury were held from the Fahey Funeral Home at 3:45 p.m., Thursday, May 22. Religious services were conducted at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic church by Rev. Father Edward P. Desmond.
Mr. Tudury, 65, died at his home at 436 Ballentine street, Wednesday, May 21, at 6:00 a.m.
The son of Mrs. Ida Saucier Tudury of Bay St. Louis, and the late Peter Tudury, he was a native and lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Tudury was one of the only men who served in the Armed Forces from Hancock County to be cited for bravery during World War I.
Survivors include his widow, the former Zelma Bermond, four daughters, Mrs. W. R. Johnston Jr., Mrs. Charles S. Benigno and Mrs Leroy Nash of Bay St Louis and Mrs Sterling B. Sharp Jr., Mobile, Ala.; three sisters, Mrs. Julian Perre, Galveston, Texas, Misses Lillian and Stella Tudury, Bay St. Louis; four brothers, Clarence and Theo Tudury, Bay St. Louis, and Harold and Victor Tudury, New Orleans.
