Graves, William - July 18, 1922
William Graves, the negro brakeman who fell from a freight train near the L. and N. depot yesterday about 1 o'clock and fractured his skull, died a few hours later at the King's Daughters Hospital.
The negro had been an employee of the L. and N. for 20 years and had always rendered a good service.
He was reared in Bay St. Louis and white men who knew him there speak of him as a most exemplary man, and his associates speak of him in the highest terms.
His remains were shipped to Bay St. Louis for interment.
