Fahey, John B. - April 27, 1901
Death at an early hour this morning claimed as its own one of the best and most substantial citizens of the place in the person of Mr. John B. Fahey, after a long and trying illness.
Before taking ill Mr. Fahey for years was superintendent of bridges and buildings on the local division of the L. & N. He was progressive and ever alive to the best interest of Bay St. Louis, so great was his faith in the future of this city that he invested largely in real estate and local enterprises. He was a devout member of the Catholic faith and belonged to the order of the Catholic Knights of America. The remains will be shipped to Louisville, Ky. tonight for burial, accompanied by the widow and oldest son.
