Obituary Record

Auguste Regouffre, a native of France, but a resident and voter of Bay St. Louis, aged seventy-two years, was found dead in his bed Wednesday morning. He was formerly in the employ of Victor Landrieu & Bro, in the bakery business, and when the firm moved to New Orleans some years since, he remained on the premises, now occupied by the Gex establishment. Mr. Gex discovered the man dead, not seeing him about the place the discovery was the result of an immediate search. Judge Breath impaneled a jury and an inquest held over the remains, the finding being that the deceased had met his death from no unnatural cause. Regouffre has a wife and grown up children in New Orleans to whom the remains were shipped.
