Dardar, Walter John Sr. - October 26, 2000
Walter John Dardar, Sr., 86, of Clermont Harbor, died Thursday, Oct 26, 2000 in Bay St. Louis.
He was a native of Golden Meadow, LA, and a resident of Chalmette, LA and Clermont Harbor for the past 20 years. He was of the Catholic Faith, and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by wife: Della Bordelon Dardar; daughter: Gail Marie Dardar; parents: John A. and Brigett William Dardar; four brothers: Louis, Raymond, Frank and Hanna Dardar; a sister: Rita Mable Crosby; and one grandchild.
He is survived by two sons: Walter J. Dardar, Jr. of Crane Creek, MS and Robert A. Dardar of Bay St. Louis; a daughter; Christine Luxich of Clermont Harbor; brother; Phillip Dardar of Port Lovica, TX; sister: Helen Dardar Gindrat of Metairie, LA; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home Chapel, Bay St. Louis.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family request Masses at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Clermont Harbor.
