Obituary Record

Larry George Baum Sr., age 64, passed away March 2, 2006 after a long illness. Mr. Baum was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Hancock County since 1976. He was a former employee of Coast Transit Authority of Biloxi, MS and many Gulf Coast ship yards. He was also a member of the Masonic Temple Lodge #429 of Bay St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Baum Sr. and Violet Lott Baum, one brother, Arthur Baum Jr. and a sister, Brenda Baum Rowe. He is survived by his wife, Indy Pace Baum of Bay St. Louis, two brothers, Charles Ray Baum of Covington, LA and Ronald Baum of Picayune, MS; one sister, Myrna Baum LaFontaine of Bay St. Louis; four sons, Rene Baum of Atlanta, GA, Cody Baum and Herman Baum of New Orleans and Larry Baum Jr. of TX; three daughters, Belinda Baum Salmon, Bridgette Baum and Victoria Baum, all of New Orleans; seven step children, LaFontaine of Kiln, MS, Tammy LaFontaine Raphael of Waveland, MS, Randy LaFontaine of Wiggins, MS, Belinda Reed of GA, Cindy Martin, Kim David and Melissa Damrill, all of North Biloxi. Mr. Baum is also survived by 23 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Visitation is Tuesday, March 7, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, with a service at 11:00 a.m.Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
