Obituary Record

Victor Chauvet, 55, son of the late Paula and Ida Favre Chauvet of Gulfport, died Monday, March 2, at Our Lady of the Sea hospital, Galiano, La., after a brief illness.

Mr. Chauvet, a native of Bay St. Louis was a resident of Larose, La. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene Savoie Chauvet and four sisters, Mrs. Celine Ladnier, Gulfport; Mrs. Louis Doleac, Hattiesburg; Mrs. L. A. Rice, Baton Rouge; and Mrs. J. J. Rebstock, New Orleans. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10:30 a m. with religious services at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, La. Interment was in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
