Creighton, John Sr. - February 2, 1999
John H. Creighton, Sr., 75, of Waveland, died Feb 2, 1999 in Metairie.
Mr. Creighton was a native of New Orleans and a member of Crescent Lodge 387 in New Orleans and a 50 year member. He reired from Kaiser Aluminum after 31 yeaars. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Post 77 in Waveland and of VFW Post 3706 in Chalmette.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Hilda Mary Barkneyer Creighton.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald J. Creighton of Matairie, Donald A. Creighton of Arabi, and John H. Creighton Jr. of Sydney, Australia; a daughter, Maary Ann Robeson of Chalmette; a brother, Ernie Creighton; and two sisters, Ara Lee and Carol Bodden, all o f Chalmet; seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be 10;30 a.m. -12;30 p.m., Friday, Feb 5 at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis with recitation of the rosary at 11 a.m.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 12;40 p.m. going to St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland for celebration of mass at l p.m. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
