Cuevas, Charlie O. - August 6, 1996
Charlie O. Cuevas, 80, of Pass Christian, died Tuesday, Aug 6, 1996 in Gulfport.
Mr. Cuevas was born in Lizana and served in a tank battalion in the Army during World War II. He was a retired welder for Litton Industries and was a member of the Boiler Makers Union. He was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church in the Ladner community.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nolia Mary Cuevas; his parents, Dominique and Lucia Cuevas; and three brothers, Philman Cuevas, Maybin Cuevas and Melvin Cuevas.
Survivors include his wife, Luvealy Cuevas; a daughter, Charlotte Peterson; three sons, Gerald Cuaevas and C. J. Cuevas, all of Pass Christian, and Danny Cuevas of Carriere; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Thursday evening at St. Williams Catholic Church. Services were conducted Friday at the church, followed by burial in Rotten Bayou Cemetery in Hancock County.
Riemann Funeral Home in Gulfport was in charge of arrangements.
