Farve, Dennis Harold - January 15, 1999
Dennis Harold Farve, Sr., 79, of Bay St. Louis, died Friday, Jan 15, 1999, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Farve was a native and resident of Bay St. Louis, a World War II veteran and once held position as treasurer for the Knights of Peter Claver. He was a member of St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis and was a constsruction worker, a contractor, and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Lee Farve of Bay St. Louis; six sons, Roland Dedeaux of Richmond, Va., Dennis Jr., Arthur and Earl Farve, all of Bay St. Louis, Henry Farve, Hatrtiesburg, U. S. Army, Christopher Farve of Lake Charles, La.; seven daughters, Patricia Farve of Los Angeles, Calif., Paulette Farve of Lake C harles, la., Clcida Paige of DeLisle, Antionette Wright and Gloria Farve, both of Bay St. Louis, Angela Shanks of Seattle, Wash., Paula Farve of Gulfport; two brothers, John and Peter Farve, both of Bay St. Louis; 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan 22, 10-11 a.m. at St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, followed by funeral services in the church. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
J. T. Hall Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
