Keen, Jane Trundle - December 27, 1998
Jane Trusdell Keen, 70, of Waveland, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, in Waveland.
Ms. Keen was a native of New Orleans where she lived for 20 years. She then moved to New York and worked at the Rockefeller Foundation for seven years. She then worked at Merrill Lynch for 32 years in various positions, from which she retired as vice president. Upon retirement she moved, with her sister Martha, to Waveland where her family had a summer home. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian. She did volunteer work at Crosby Arboretum in Picayune, and she was chairman of the Zoning Commission in Waveland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Buckland and Cora Brokes Wisner Keen; and two sisters, Florance Keen Arthur and Rosemary Keen Laird.
Survivors include a sister, Martha Thomas Keen of Waveland; a niece, Rosemary Lair Broom of Atlanta, Ga.; a great-niece, Victoria TeValt of Atlanta; and a great nephew, Richard Better of Amelia Island, Fla.Services were conducted Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian, followed by burial in Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis was in charge of arrangements.
