Mrs. Edwina Ladner Luke, 67, a resident of 301 DeMontluzin, Bay St. Louis, died at 10:25 o'clock Wednesday night at her residence following a long illness.

Mrs. Luke was born in Bay St. Louis. She was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Forest T. Luke, Bay St. Louis; four daughters, Mrs. Juanita Ward, Mrs. Edith Cox, Miss lleana Mae Luke. Bay St. Louis; Mrs. Elsie Jones, Mississipi City; two sons, Leroy T. Luke and Foster M. Luke, Bay St. Louis; eight grandchildren; six sister. Mrs. Lillian Fayard, Bay St. Louis: Mrs. Sadie Roemer, New Orleans; Mrs. Alcide James, Pass Christian; Mrs Esther Witter, Long Beach; Mrs. Mabel Bosarge. Biloxi: Mrs. Mathilde Wirmiprime, New Orleans; four brothers, Gaston Ladner and Nolan Ladner, Bay St. Louis; Delmas Ladner, Hattiesburg; and Russell Ladner, Mobile. The body is at Fahey Funeral Home and the parlors will be open at 5 p.m. The funeral service will be held Friday morning at 9:45 o'clock from the funeral home followed by religious rites at 10 o'clock in Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
