Mauffray, Funstan Alois - April 27, 1959
Funstan Alois Mauffray, native of Bay S. Louis, was buried at sea Monday from the S. S. Del Sud, where he served as an electrician. Mr. Mauffray was 55, died at 4 P. M. April 27 aboard the Delta Line ship.
Born in June, 1903, at Bay St. Louis, he was the son of Mrs. Joseph O. Mauffray of Main Street and the late Mr. Mauffray.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Totli Lagroue; two sons, Joseph and Phillip Mauffray; five sisters, Miss Elsa E. Mauffray and Mrs. O. W. (Oleah) Delph, both of Bay St. Louis; Miss Iolanth E. Mauffray of Mobile, Ala.; Mrs. Curry (Judy) Garner of Laurel and Mrs. Joan Dematatis of Glendale, Calif., and two brothers, Alden L. Mauffray of Bay St. Louis and Ludger J. Mauffray of New Orleans
